Our beloved missionaries, Todd & Esther Jones, have faithfully served with Wycliffe Bible Translators since 2002 in both the U.S. and Asia, and Pillar Bible Church has been privileged to be one of their prayer and financial supporters since 2003. They have 3 children, son Caleb (2004), daughter Alethia (2006), and son Bentley (2008). In July 2010, after several years working with JAARS USA in North Carolina, they returned to Asia, now serving in Pohang, South Korea.
Todd contributes to the overall task of Bible translation through linguistic software development. As a linguistic software developer, Todd writes computer programs that Bible translators use on the field to more quickly and accurately translate God’s Word for others. He is continuing software development and training new missionaries at JAARS Korea, in strategic efforts to reach Asia.
In addition to her roles as wife and mother, Esther contributes to the overall task of Bible translation by working as the editor of the Sower, a quarterly newsletter published by Wycliffe USA to recruit more Korean Americans for Bible translation.
